Sports couture. The title says it all. For Fall of 1997 it was all about combining couture with sports, or so thought IdilVice. Every piece in this collection has a sporty feel. This may be partially because of Idil's pairing of sporty sneakers with every outfit including the ball gowns, but definitely because of the use of a lot of white and graphic shapes such as stripes, alpine kitschy emblems, etc. It's a good one!
Eclectic 3 piece pant suit set. Inspired by snow board fashion. The set consists
of a blazer, slacks and a turtleneck sweater. The fully lined suit is made with
ice blue fluff print silk taffeta, trimmed with red and white swiss cotton and
navy wool novelty. The sweater is a combination of navy wool novelty and a silk
screen printed cotton panel. There are some embroidered patches in addition.

This is made from the same materials as the snow flake suit but it has a petticoat
made out of white snow flake lace and tulle and comes with a silk screen printed
glove.
Hand bleached coat and pant set. Made with red 100% cotton twill and a lot of
bleach! Comes with a swiss cross bones top and a glove.
Another
coat and pant set. This time it comes in gold with a message: UPS - United Pot
Smokers. Oh, well!
What's up with the sets? The thing with the sets is is that one can really go
far with a look and that is what Idil wanted to do with these. This one here
is really cool, it is held in the colors, red, green, yellow and black, the
colors of the Rastafari. The set consists of a coat, pant, fringe top, hat
and scarf. The coat and pants are a wool knit, the top is a tie dye cotton knit
with a fluffy print and fringe bottom and the scarf and hat are knitted.
Honoring Mother Teresa. This set is so nice to wear, with it's combination of
red and white it makes a great statement. It consists of a pair of slacks, a
blouse with attached tie, a large throw and a bandana. It's super slick rayon
in panels. One of IdilVice's absolute favorites.
A comfortable asymmetrical spandex ruffle dress with a blouse for cover.
3 piece set. Consists of a puff sleeve white cotton shirt, a navy silk screen
printed zip cardigan and a red genuine suede skirt.
